What’s with the low turnout for Ford's Bronco Off Roadeo? Seems like only about 30% of owners go. If you haven't tried it, I really think you should!

Many people, in my opinion, cannot or will not travel to the destination.

If you both lack offroad expertise, I think it was well worth the cost to bring a second, so if you can afford the trip, go for it.

It was an easy option because I live 40 minutes from the New Hampshire Offroadeo. I got to practice on difficulties and terrain that I’ll drive over and over again without having to travel.

I think many people don’t plan to do anything but drive on pavement with their Bronco.

They are too far from where a lot of people live. If you live on the East Coast, too bad, you’ll need to travel all the way to New Hampshire.

Exactly, it’s too far.

Definitely need an Off Rodeo location in the Southeast like Georgia, North Carolina, or Tennessee.

@Colby
And we also need one in the Pacific Northwest.

They really messed up by not having something in the Southeast.

Hi everyone, I got my Bronco a few months back (2021 1st edition), but unfortunately, it’s too old to qualify for the Bronco Off Rodeo. :cry: I’d really appreciate it if someone certain they won’t be attending could send me their pass. I hate to ask, but the Bronco Ranch won’t let me register without a newer Bronco. Thanks so much everyone.

I think it sounds boring.

I bought a Bronco because my family and I love surfing.

Top down, doors off, boards in, we just want to go anywhere.

The closest event is in Nevada, five hours away with no ocean.

No thanks.

@Reagan
It would be cool if someone could sell their Off Rodeo invite to others who want to go again or try a different venue.

Are you a Ford employee? How do you know the numbers and why do you care?

$2000 for travel, overpriced hotels, and food for a ‘free’ day is a lot.

Well, that’s unfortunate. I’m in CA. :joy:

Can someone explain what this is? It sounds really cool but I’m not sure.

Wow, that’s awesome.

I’d consider going if I didn’t have to pay $400 for an extra passenger. I’ll probably just rent something instead.

I bought my Broncos first, then tried to sign up for the Off Rodeo event. The website said there weren’t any open spots for me.

Seems like this event is for potential Bronco buyers, not the current owners, since they already have my money. I would have loved it if the cost wasn’t so high.

My dealer mentioned there was an event in Atlanta when I bought my Bronco a month ago, but now I only see New Hampshire listed for events on the East Coast. Was the sales guy just making that up?

@Pace
It’s a commitment over several years from Ford and the team managing the event. I can’t remember the exact number of years, but the facilities they set up are really nice. However, I wouldn’t recommend the event to others.

The main thing keeping me off the list is the $75 fee to limit your total damage liability to $3500. That’s too much of a risk for just one day.

I was worried about that too, but the instructors were not concerned about damage at all. The only time they might care is if you roll the car.

My instructor even encouraged me to take paths that seemed risky and said not to worry about damage. At the end, they didn’t check for any damage on our vehicles either. Just pay attention to your instructor—they know the safe paths and how to help you in trouble.
