What do you think of these tires?

I couldn’t stand the stock tires anymore. I also drive on a rough gravel road every day. The Falkens made the ride feel more stable on the highway. By the way, the stock tires are shown in the first photo.

Knew exactly what tire this was before I even clicked lol.

Haha! I had Falkens on my old truck and they were great.

I just got the same ones lol.

Just got back from my son’s hockey game, driving through icy, slushy Minnesota roads with Falken Wildpeak AT Trails. Put it in slippery mode and it handled everything like a champ. Best all-around tire for the Bronco Sport. Would definitely buy them again.

@Griffin
Can you drive at highway speeds in slippery mode?

Yep, no problem.

I love Falken Wildpeaks. Had them on my Grand Cherokee and now on my Badlands. They handle winter weather really well and look great too.

What’s your MPG with the Wildpeaks? Is the ride noticeably rougher?

@Poe
I’m getting about 26 MPG on the highway. Ride quality is fine for me, but I think the suspension feels a bit stiff, which might just be because of the platform size.

I have an OBX but went for the cheaper Falkens. Planning to upgrade to Wildpeaks when these wear out.

What size did you get? I’m thinking of upgrading but can’t decide between 235/60 or 245/60 for my 18-inch OBX wheels.

I stuck with the stock 225/60 size. Didn’t want to risk rubbing, especially with mud or snow. I needed something that balances fuel economy with light off-road capability. If I wanted a full off-road setup, I’d probably have gone for a Badlands.

I got the 245s and they fit fine on my non-Badlands. I use Blizzaks in winter for skiing though. The Falkens are okay in light snow, but they don’t compare to a proper winter tire.

How do they perform on road trips?

Just drove 100 miles on the highway and they were great. Not much road noise, and it felt like the Bronco stayed more centered in the lane compared to the Michelins.

@Shawn
That’s good to know, thanks!

How many miles did you get out of the OEM Michelins? Did you consider other brands?

I only had 4600 miles on the Michelins, but I didn’t like them. They wore out fast on my old Escape (about 30k miles) and were loud. The Falkens are quiet, durable, and have a 65k-mile warranty. Plus, with FordPass points and a rebate, I got all four for about $535.
