Thinking about choosing between this Bronco Raptor and a Jeep Wrangler 392 for daily driving and weekend trips. Test drove the Bronco, and it was a beast! But, is it practical for commuting? Any issues with city parking?
It’s a bit tight in some parking spots, but with the wheels and fenders sticking out, there’s still enough room to open the doors. In smaller lots, I sometimes end up close to the lines. The cameras help a lot with parking, just don’t be that person taking up two spots.
It takes a few days to adjust to the width on the road, but it’s manageable. Some narrow streets might feel tight, but parallel parking is surprisingly easy.
I’ve been on trails where the fenders were inches away from trees. You’ll feel the width off-road, but the cameras help. No problem keeping up with modded Jeeps on rough paths, though you might get more scratches. But on bumps? Nobody’s catching up with you.

Thanks! Sounds like the cameras will be a lifesaver at first.

I’ve had two Raptors and now the Bronco – all of them were daily drivers. The Bronco handles well, especially with the turning radius. If you bump into anything, it’s likely hitting the tire or fender. The cameras are a must, I still use them every day to park since the rear window view isn’t great with the spare tire blocking it.
It’s wide but totally manageable. I drive mine every day.
I’ve had both. Got rid of the 2022 Wrangler 392 for a 2023 Bronco Raptor. For daily driving, the Bronco is the better choice. It’s wide, but that’s mostly an issue off-road. The ride quality in the Bronco is way better. The Wrangler felt shaky above 75 mph.
@Rex
I’ve taken my Bronco up to 110, and it still felt solid.
The turning radius is excellent, which makes parking easier. The height and wheels even let you go over medians if traffic is rough.
It’s easy to drive daily.
I don’t use mine every day because I have an F150 Raptor, but whenever I switch, it feels like I’m driving a tiny car. So, maybe not the best person for advice.

I swapped my Gen 2 F150 Raptor for a ’24 Bronco Raptor. Being used to a wide vehicle, it wasn’t a huge adjustment. The difference in wheelbase is noticeable, and the Bronco feels sportier than my truck. Parking’s a lot easier too; didn’t have to do the multi-point turns I used to need in tight spots.

Haha, I’m moving from a Tesla Model 3, so yeah… total opposite.
@Del
Big switch there! You’ll definitely notice the difference in size.

Whoa, that Gen 1 is massive.

For sure, it’s a tank!

She’s a beauty.
You might want to park farther back, but avoid Costco! Lol.
The widest parts are actually higher than most sedans, so you should be good.
Are you an AmeriCAN or an AmeriCAN’T?
It’s doable, but tight parking downtown will test you.
Depends on what you’re comfortable with daily. Sometimes you might need to park farther from others.
Nah, it’s just right.
