I’m thinking of getting the Outer Banks trim. I know it’s great around town, but how’s it on the highway? Smooth, comfortable, and quiet or…?
People say it’s noisy, but I don’t really notice it. I keep the stereo at a low level, and I can hear just fine on the highway.

Same here lol
Best trim in my opinion. You get all the nice features without the heavy off-road stuff from the Badlands, which I don’t need. It is a bit louder inside, but you can put in some soundproofing if it bothers you. Honestly, I think it’s quiet compared to my WRX, though it’s mainly my wife’s car.

Yeah, I don’t need hardcore off-road, just some snow handling. Was thinking about getting regular car tires instead of SUV ones to make it quieter?

I put snow-rated tires on mine (Nitto Nomad) and they dropped the mileage a bit, like 3mpg. I love my Outer Banks, and honestly, I don’t find the noise bad at all.
It’s a bit louder than my old sedan, but nothing too crazy. I got the tech package with the upgraded stereo, and it’s totally worth it. Heated leather seats and that stereo are awesome.
Just got the wife a Bronco Sport Outer Banks, and she’s loving it. Only complaint is that she might get a speeding ticket . It’s comfy and smooth, though the turbo engine isn’t exactly ‘quiet’. The road noise is fine, and it’s way better than the Santa Fe we just got rid of. Holds up well on gravel roads and little water crossings too. I mostly drive a Ram 1500, so maybe my tolerance for noise is higher.

Sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing.
I’ve only had mine for a week, but I’m super impressed. It’s smooth on the highway, accelerates quickly, and is a really quiet ride for an SUV. The seats are super comfy with lots of adjustment options. Big fan so far.
I always thought I’d never get an SUV because of the way they drive and the noise. The Bronco Sport changed my mind. It’s actually smoother than my old sedan. Been on a few long trips, and it’s really comfortable.
My last car was super quiet, and road noise used to drive me crazy when I was car shopping. Even though the Bronco Sport is a bit louder, it’s not a big deal, especially since it’s an SUV.
I love my Outer Banks trim. If you’re listening to music, even at a low volume, road noise isn’t noticeable unless it’s super windy.
It’s smooth but a bit loud.

What do you mean by loud? I wouldn’t describe mine that way—except for the first reverse of the day… that squeak is real.

Thanks! Is it tire noise?

Honestly, I don’t get the ‘loud’ comments. Coming from a Mustang, this feels peaceful. But everyone’s different! Love my Bronco Sport.
