@Quinby
Money. It’s cheaper to build this way.
The fold-out mount points are pretty cool, assuming they have good capacity.
Everything else feels lacking. A bigger screen and fewer physical buttons and dials feel like just cost-cutting. Physical gauges are easier on the eyes and more relaxing to read.
Also, that bash bar looks like a poorly done DIY project.
I’m happy sticking with my '21 Badlands.
Edit: the thrill-seeker in me is curious about the rally mode, though I’d probably prefer a Cobb tuner, which would allow tweaks to pedal and steering responsiveness.
@Gale
Yeah, it’s more economical to buy a $50 wireless CarPlay adapter.

I definitely need to get one since my phone’s USB port has been acting up lately. Is there a specific one you recommend?
@Gale
The options come and go, honestly. The one I got got discontinued, lol. But they all seem to come from the same source. It just boils down to what type of casing the chip has.
@Gale
Apple or Android?
Why can the Maverick get expanded hybrid options but the Bronco Sport still skips the hybrid engine…
Having climate controls as digital buttons is going to bother me a lot.
I expected they would at least introduce a hybrid…
I love all the updates they made. Just wish they offered a hybrid option.

“Our customers prefer functionality over good fuel efficiency.” Can’t we have both for 2025? Super disappointing!
Potential for cool forscan changes is nice.
These updates are nice compared to my 21 OB. But I agree, not thrilled it’s all screen operated, especially since the system has frozen on me before. Guess that’s just part of tech progress.
The Sasquatch package is going to drive the price up. The whole appeal of the BS is its value and performance. With the Badlands starting close to 40k stock and typically 45k at dealers, this could easily cross 50k for a unibody subcompact crossover!
I’m glad I bought mine at launch for 34k and I’m loving it. With this new pricing, I might as well consider a two-door Black Diamond with Sasquatch as a cheaper option.
@Payne
Special editions usually lead to price hikes.

Exactly, but these aren’t truly special editions. They are just Badlands models with a few extras. The Big Bend is easily going for around 40k at dealerships. The Badlands with the Sasquatch is just standard options. It’s not something like a Heritage Limited model.
Sorry Ford, but if prices keep rising, I’m out. Even with A Plan, that’s just not good value.
@Payne
That’s what special editions are!
The Sasquatch is simply a BS with some upgrades. No different from a Heritage model, with just a few more features and visible changes.
Looks like I’m sticking with mine since I enjoy the physical volume knob. If I wanted a screen to operate everything, I’d just buy a Tesla.

There’s volume controls on the wheel.
Not a fan of the redesign on the bumper.
