Most of the people I’ve seen buy Broncos just like how they look. A lot of people here love Jeeps, and now they’re all about Broncos too. It’s not really about quality for them, it’s all about appearance. Nothing wrong with that, but yeah, plenty of people are buying it because it looks cool.

Exactly. When you’re getting a car like this, you’ve got to know what you’re getting into. I knew most of it, but I didn’t think about a leaky roof. As for the comforts, I think the Bronco has more than enough. If I had the extra cash, I’d get a higher trim with more off-road features.

I ordered a Wildtrak two weeks ago and got a build date for July! Super excited, but mine cost $7k more than expected, lol.
My wife drives a Kia Telluride and I got a 2-door Badlands Sasquatch. The Kia’s luxury features are way better for comfort and daily driving because that’s what it was made for. The Bronco, on the other hand, was made for off-roading, and it’s great at that. But if people expect it to perform like a Kia or Honda on the road, they’ll be disappointed. Ford didn’t design it to compete with those cars on the highway; it’s built to go head-to-head with Jeeps in tough terrain. People’s expectations are more to blame than the vehicle itself.

I got a top trim because I use it as my daily driver, and I wanted some luxury features. I also live in a snowy area, so I needed something that could handle tough weather. I used to drive a Mitsubishi Outlander with great tech, and it was nice, but I’d trade it any day for my Bronco in a snowstorm.

Yeah, it’s hard to beat the fun you get with it.

This right here. My wife loves her Telluride, and it’s perfect for what she needs. Meanwhile, I’ve had my Bronco for six weeks, and every day I’m reminded of how awesome this thing is. CarPlay works great, and my mid-trim has everything I need.
I have both a Subaru BRZ and a Bronco Wildtrak. The Subaru’s tech isn’t even close to what the Bronco offers. The Bronco’s screen is quick, the 360 camera is great, and all the little features make it super comfortable to drive anywhere.

It’s nice to have the best of both worlds

I’ve had mine since September and love it, even though I don’t go off-road that much. As for the software, does anyone really use it? I just use Android Auto.

Yep, who even bothers with the factory software? We all just plug our phones in anyway.

I’d like to know what you don’t like about Ford’s software, OP? I haven’t played around with it much, just plug in my USB and listen to music. Haven’t even used the radio or navigation yet. That said, I love my Bronco, bought it for how it looks, and don’t plan to go off-road either. I’ll rarely take the top off, and I don’t haul anything. I just needed something for snowy roads. No regrets, though. It’s a blast to drive!

Ford’s software just doesn’t feel as good to me. My brand-new Navigator already has issues with CarPlay and Android Auto. Ford’s tech support is good, but there are still problems like lag and cameras failing early on. SYNC 4 is better than SYNC 3, but I’ve noticed some issues I never had in my Toyota. Plus, I’m not a fan of having certain features like climate controls only on the touchscreen.

I had a Mercedes GLC 43 with MBUX, and I actually prefer SYNC 4 over that system. The Mercedes was way too complicated and a hassle to navigate through the settings.
