I think they did okay, but there are still some things I wish I could get without paying for everything else. I’d go for the Black Diamond, but it doesn’t even have the option for the High Package or an electronic stabilizer bar disconnect, which is only on the Badlands. It would be nice if you could pick features one by one, but no company lets you do that.
@Blake
It’s crazy they bundled power seats with leather seats. I want power seats, but I don’t want black leather seats in 100-degree weather.
I think there are two issues:
- You can’t get the Mid Package with a manual transmission unless you go with the Badlands. Weird.
- The Base model should’ve had a limited-slip rear axle instead of an open diff. I’d also say Big Bend and Outer Banks should’ve had a limited-slip option, but I get that they’re more for city driving.
Other minor gripes include how the package features are bundled. The B&O sound system should be part of the High Package, and the 360-camera system should stay with the Lux package. I know opinions will vary on this stuff. Some people think the heated steering wheel should be in the Mid package, but I see that as a luxury feature, so I’m fine with it in the Lux package.
It’s a bummer you can’t get the Mid Package with the Black Diamond Sasquatch manual. Really disappointing.
How’s the quality for those who already have theirs? Are they well built?
I got a Bronco Sport, and it seems fine, but some of the door panels are starting to come loose.

Had mine since September. A few small issues so far. My Jeep was built better, but the Bronco is way more fun.
