Anyone tried vinyl overlays for car lettering?

It wasn’t too bad, but their transfer tape wasn’t very sticky, so I had to handle it carefully. I had to move into the shade for installation because the tape reflected a lot in the sun, making alignment tough. Took some progress photos so you can see the difference as I worked through it.

Nice! Can you swing by and do mine next?

Haha, my perfectionist side wouldn’t survive it!

This is why I ditched the overlays and just went with plasti dip instead.

@Chao
I wanted that 3D black-on-white look! Decided to try the overlays first, and if I don’t like it, I’ll switch to plasti dip. Looked kinda cool keeping the sport logo fully white, but I finished the whole thing. Easy to peel off in stages if I change my mind.

@Laken
Yeah, the white sport logo looked awesome! And I noticed your plate too - it’s great!

Just saw it now - love the plate too!

I went to a tint shop and got them to do all my decals… and tinted the windows too!

Didn’t I send you a link for these? Looks good! Had mine on for over a year and no issues at all, rain or shine.

Mud-flaps? They’re not my style.

Well, it’s better than dealing with chipped paint from off-roading.
