I’ve got a 21 and it’s been a nightmare. It’s in the shop again. I’m thinking about trading it in for a 24. Has anyone had any big problems with theirs?
I’ve had mine for 6 months and driven about 15,000km. No problems so far.
But yeah, the stock tires are terrible in snow. Ford really dropped the ball there.

I’m in central Texas, so no snow for me . I just put new tires on mine too, but I’m over it. Too many issues.
@Dev
I get that. I was nervous about going with Ford because of stuff like this, especially with the 2021 models. The newer ones seem better, though. Hope it works out for you!

Same here. Just hit 15,000km with my 24 OB. I got it with a lift and all-terrain tires, so I’m ready for winter.
The windshield is the biggest problem—it cracks super easily.
My advice is to wait a couple of years before buying new models. They always have issues early on. If you go with the 24, just take care of it and stay on top of maintenance, and you should be fine.
@Phoenix
I already have chips on mine . Somehow, it’s still the factory windshield.

I went years without a cracked windshield until I got my Bronco. Took only two months to get my first crack. It’s probably the angle and how high the windshield sits.
@Phoenix
Yep, same with Jeeps. It’s definitely the angle.
I’ve had mine since August and driven 4700 miles. The only issue was the dealer scratching my bumper during a hitch install, but they’re replacing it soon. Other than that, no problems at all.

Mine has a list of issues, and now it’s in the shop for a leaking rear main seal. So frustrating.
@Dev
That’s rough. First-year vehicles are always a gamble, and Covid made things worse with the parts shortage. I waited for a 24 because of that. Got mine new for $2,000 less than I was looking at a 22 last year. Hope things improve for you!
@Chen
Thanks. I’m going to talk to the dealer when I pick it up. I overpaid when I bought it and will probably be upside down, but I’m hoping it’s not too bad.

Good luck!
Got mine in April and haven’t had any issues.
I have a 2023 BB with 10,000 miles. I change the oil myself whenever the oil life hits 25%. So far, just two recalls for software updates, but no other problems.
My 2024 BB has 4,000 miles and no issues after 4 months.
Had mine since May. So far, so good (knock on wood).
Go with a Jeep Wrangler, but not the 4xe because of recalls. The regular ones are solid.

I’ve driven Wranglers before—not a fan of either the 4-door or 2-door versions.
