Would you still choose a Bronco? Thinking about getting one

Hey everyone,

I’m considering buying a Ford Bronco and wanted to hear from owners: if you had the chance, would you make the same choice?

Specifically, I’d like to know:
• How it’s holding up over time (reliability, wear and tear).
• Your driving experience both on-road and off-road.
• Features you love or didn’t expect to enjoy.
• Anything you’d do differently (trim, engine, or options).

I’ve done some research, but personal stories are always more helpful. Whether you’re happy with your Bronco or have some regrets, I’d love to hear about it.

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Cheers!

Yes, but I wish I had gotten the modular bumper. Regret skipping it, and I can’t find any aftermarket ones I like.

You can still get the modular bumper directly from Ford for about $1,000.

@Baylor
Last I checked, it wasn’t available on the Ford accessories site anymore.

Try this link: 2021-2024 BRONCO FORD PERFORMANCE HEAVY DUTY MODULAR FRONT BUMPER KIT| Part Details for M-17757-BM | Ford Performance Parts. Heads up though, some people have received Ranger skid plates instead of Bronco ones, but the bumper itself is correct.

@Baylor
Wow, totally forgot to check the performance section. Thanks for the reminder!

Completely agree—get the modular bumper. It’s my only regret too.

Same here! I should’ve added it. If stock is still available, you can grab one directly from Ford.

@Paz
Do you happen to know the part number? I’ve been searching everywhere but can’t find it.

Sure thing!

Definitely yes! I have a ‘23 Wildtrak and haven’t had a single issue. I take it off-roading in the dunes every weekend, and it performs perfectly. On-road, the gas mileage is okay (13L/100KM), and the road noise isn’t bad. If you plan to use it for trails and adventures, go for it!

@Will
Same here, 2-door Wildtrak. I used to drive Wranglers, but this exceeds my expectations. Fully loaded with all the features, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

I have the same setup! :grinning:

@Storm
Is yours cactus grey too? I’m amazed Ford won’t offer the Wildtrak trim for 2025. It’s such a solid setup!

Yep, cactus grey here too! I was surprised they discontinued it. Honestly, I think they did it to push Raptor sales, but the Wildtrak is such a beast. APG has great videos comparing them if you’re curious.

My wife has an Outer Banks trim, and it’s been awesome for over a year. We used to own Jeeps, and the Bronco has definitely been better. We expected hardtop road noise, so no surprises there. I’ve only done some light off-roading with it, but it’s handled everything well. Honestly, I might just take over hers when it’s time for her next car and let her pick something new.

I have a ‘23 Outer Banks with the 2.7 engine and advanced 4x4. It’s great for city driving and light trails. My only regret is not getting the Wildtrak—it looks amazing, and I get a little jealous when I see one!
