I just got a 2021 Big Bend, and it came with Continental ProContacts. Thinking of switching to all-weather or all-terrain tires so I don’t have to worry about winter changes. It’ll mostly stay on highways, so I’m not really looking for serious off-road tires.
Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails are a great choice. If you’re mainly on pavement but want something reliable for all seasons, these are perfect. They’re rated for snow and handle well in all conditions. I’ve tested them through Minnesota winters, and they’ve been a big improvement over the stock Continentals.
@Frankie
I’m in Minnesota too. Mine came with Pirelli Scorpion ATs, and they were terrible—worn out by 19,000 miles. Switched to Wildpeaks on my 2021 Badlands, and they’ve been great. Got 60,000 miles out of them, which is solid for all-terrain tires.
@Frankie
Heads up, these will cost you around $1,000 for a set.

Yeah, I paid about the same when I bought mine.
@Frankie
I went with these too, and they’ve been awesome. Cost me $1,000 as well.
I’m using Michelin CrossClimate 2s, and I can’t say anything bad about them. They’ve handled mud, snow, ice, highways, and gravel roads without any issues. I live in a pretty remote area, and they’ve been perfect.
@MrRice
Same here! These tires are great.
@Tate
Have you driven in heavy snow with them? How’s the gas mileage?

I haven’t driven in deep snow since I’m in Texas, but they’ve done fine in 6–8 inches. They’re snow-rated, and people in northern Canada rave about them. Compared to the Falkens, I chose these for the quieter ride and stiffer sidewalls. I lost about 1 mpg, but I went up a size.
@Tate
I’m planning on getting these once the Continentals wear out.
I put Falken Wildpeak AT/3Ws on my Badlands because I wanted something for off-road too.

Exactly what I went with. Great tires.
I like the Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail tires. They’re also snow-rated.
I’m using Falken Wildpeak AT Trails, and they’ve been great for road use and some light off-roading. They’re solid in the snow too.
AT Wranglers are my pick.
@Willow
Do the bigger tires work without a lift? I’m looking at getting an AT set for my Big Bend, but I prefer KO2s.
