What does this button even do… anyone know

I saw this button in my car, and I can’t figure out what it does. It has a symbol that looks like a sun and maybe a door? Anyone have a clue?

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone.

It’s not warm when she’s away.

It’s for the cabin lights… turns them on or off when the doors open.

This button stops the interior lights from turning on when the doors are open. It’s great if you don’t want people outside seeing into your car at night. Might help with keeping your eyes adjusted to the dark too.

@Kit
Ford didn’t need to bother. The interior lights are about as bright as a birthday candle in a cave.

Clearly, you’ve never been in a cave with a candle! No way those lights are brighter.

It’s got a door and a light symbol… take a guess!

Honestly, it looks more like a robot and a speedometer.

You must either work on cars or just have a lot of common sense.

Clearly when there’s no sunshine, your winch falls off.

Wait, that’s supposed to be a door? I figured out the sun part, but the door? Alright then.

The person who posted this also has an owner’s manual built into the screen, just saying.

It’s for the dome light.

Just don’t press that button, whatever you do!

Looks like it’s saying someone gets sad when the sun goes down!

Suns out, no sunglasses needed?

It means no sun for the car.

It’s not for Native American headdresses, that’s for sure.
