What do you hate most about your new Bronco… any regrets?

I’ve been a Jeep guy for years, but the redesign of the Bronco totally caught my eye. I’m planning to get one in late 2024 or early 2025. For those who’ve had a Bronco since 2021, what’s been your biggest issue or regret? I’ve heard about windows whistling and hard tops shrinking in cold weather.

I’m currently considering the OBX trim, probably non-Sasquatch and maybe manual. My dilemma is whether to go manual since I’d like my daughter to learn stick shift in a few years, but I’ve grown used to the convenience of a remote starter.

If you could do it all over, what would you change about your Bronco purchase?

The lack of rear vents and cup holders is frustrating. Also, the cargo area has a step-up when the seats are folded, which makes it tough for my large dogs to get comfy. They’ve added cup holders to newer models starting in 2024, but the angled headrests still bother me sometimes.

@Joss
You can flip the headrests around if they bug you. Easy fix.

@Joss
What’s the back seat experience like overall? My kid will be back there for a year or two, so I’m curious.

It’s fine for kids, and the stadium seating gives a nice view. Adults might find it a bit upright, but there’s plenty of legroom.

For kids, it’s mostly fine. Adults have mixed feelings—some like the view, others don’t like the upright seating. I fixed the cup holder issue by adding Mabett ones that attach to the console. They’re sturdy and match well.

Get the Sasquatch package with a hard top, and you’ll have few regrets. The hard top is better than I expected—still noisy on freeways, but not a dealbreaker for me. Mudflaps are a must to protect the paint.

@Leith
Same here. I’m really picky about sound and thought the hard top would be awful, but it’s not bad. I have a 2022 Badlands with the sound-deadening material, and it’s fine unless I’m going 75+ mph.

@Sky
I’m with you—these windows going up and down all the time makes me nervous long-term. Hopefully, replacements won’t cost a fortune.

I got stuck with a soft top because of an engine upgrade that removed the hard top option. The noise can be frustrating when trying to do anything but drive. I’ll get a hard top someday, but for now, I just deal with it.

@Rex
I’ve read a lot about this, but I don’t find the noise as bad as others say. Took mine on a 15-day road trip and had no issues.

I miss memory seat settings and cooled seats. Adjusting the seat every time we switch drivers is annoying, and cooled seats are something you don’t realize you’ll miss until they’re gone.

Cooled seats have never been on my radar, so I think I’m safe there. Are the seats easy to clean?

@Ollie
Very easy to clean. Spills come right off. If you get marine-grade vinyl, you can even rinse them out with the floor drains.

I hate that I didn’t order mine and ended up paying over MSRP.

That’s rough. Hope you love it enough to move past that eventually.
