No hate towards the new Broncos—I love them—but I was really hoping to find a good Early Bronco (EB) community since I have a Gen 1. They’re so different from the new ones. I know some EB owners are here, but are there any active and decent-sized forums or groups you’d recommend? I’d love to learn and share more about mine. I’ve had it for about five years now. Sharing a photo to catch the attention of other EB owners. Thanks
This forum was created back in January 2012.
I’ve got a 68, and that’s a beautiful Bronco you’ve got there.

I was hoping to see some other classic broncos around here! Thanks for the post!
@Sawyer
I love those dent sides, man. Check out the Full Size Bronco forum if you need help; those folks are awesome.
That’s an absolutely gorgeous Bronco! I don’t think there’s much EB content here, but I’d love to see more.
I wish I could afford a Gen 1, but at least I have a two-door Gen 6.
@Jesse
Wow… is that a true Safari model? Many were just add-on fillers, and real ones are super rare. Looks like it has the original pin windshield too.

Yep, it’s an original U13. It’s been in my family since new. It sat in my dad’s backyard for about 30 years before I saved it eight years ago. Got it running, but it still needs a few things before I’d trust it on the road.
@Jesse
I’ve got a ‘66 that I’ve had for over 40 years. I don’t think they ever stop needing work, even if you drive them all the time.

Yeah, this one sat so long that most of the bushings and gaskets are shot. I’m planning on doing a front disc conversion and a 1.5-inch suspension lift this year.
@Jesse
Discs would be great. I think you might need to swap the front axle to do it, though. I added power steering from a ‘72 to mine years ago. It’s been fun, but there’s always something to fix!

Yeah, I’ll have to look into it more. I won’t be driving it much faster than 50 mph anyway—it’s basically a tractor at this point.
@Jesse
Let me guess—yours has a straight-six?

Yep, straight-six with a three on the tree.
