Currently driving a Dodge Charger and love the sound system because I can sing without hearing my off-key voice. Also curious if Bronco owners have a friendly vibe like Wrangler folks who wave to each other, while Dodge drivers usually give each other the side-eye. Any thoughts?
I try to wave, but most people don’t wave back

Aw, that’s too bad

I usually honk at other Broncos. You can upgrade the speakers if needed; the B&O isn’t the best. They even make a sub for the swing gate, and speaker upgrades are pretty affordable.

Same here
I don’t really wave. As for the sound, the upgraded B&O is just okay. There’s a new 12-speaker version for 2025, but nobody knows if it’s any better yet.

Disappointing about the speakers. Thanks for the heads-up!
@Alden
Just test-drove both the standard and B&O sound systems. The standard is like most basic car audio, while the B&O has clear sound. Maybe the issue is road noise, making it hard to hear at high speeds. I found it pretty clear on the highway. Not sure I’d pay extra for it, though.
@Tal
Makes sense.

My only issue is that the bass feels like it might blow the speaker at times. I like good bass, but I’ve had to turn it down a bit. Also, I feel the music through my left foot—there must be a woofer near the pedals!
@Koa
That’s wild! I love a good bass too.
Most Bronco owners I’ve met wave! We’ve got a lot of new ones in town lately, and it’s becoming a thing.

Awesome! I love the motorcycle community because we always nod to each other, kind of like a shared respect. Was hoping Broncos would have a similar vibe!
@Alden
Totally get that! Used to ride dirt bikes, and the sense of community was the best part. Not sure Broncos are quite there, but maybe we can help make it happen!

Agreed!
I notice that the 2-door models wave more often, built 4-doors sometimes, and stock 4-doors rarely do.

Interesting! Thanks for the tip.
I switched from a Charger to a Bronco myself, and the sound systems are nothing alike. The Bronco’s audio is pretty weak, but for about $500, you can upgrade the speakers and sub. Waving from other Bronco owners is hit or miss.
@Shawn
Thank you! You know exactly what I’m used to with the Charger. $500 isn’t bad at all for an upgrade. Do you ever miss your Charger?

Sometimes I miss it, mainly the V8 growl and the looks, but I love the Bronco more, and it’s way easier to drive in winter.
