Thinking about buying a 2 door Big Bend… Anything I should consider before making the decision?

I’m getting excited! Just wanted to hear about the good and bad sides before I make the final choice…

I’ve had my stock Big Bend for a year now. I’m thinking of upgrading to Bilstein suspension because the body roll is too much for me. The base suspension is soft and good for daily driving and light off-roading. I love the Big Bend trim, no regrets! The only thing I wish I’d skipped is the $800 signature lighting package. I’ve realized the stock headlights look better, more classic, and I just figured that out last week.

I totally agree with you. I ordered mine in 2020 but didn’t get it until 2022. I got the steel wheels and front bumper since I was grandfathered in. It’s a great car and drives surprisingly well. I didn’t go off-road much, but I wanted the first trim with no carpet and drain plugs. Biggest issues for me are the small trunk and the not-so-great CarPlay interface. If you get a manual, it’s a blast to drive!

Yeah, the biggest complaint I’ve seen is the CarPlay and Android Auto issues. But the reset is easy. Just hold the volume and skip buttons for 15 seconds and you’ll be good to go.

Is that all I have to do to reset it? Do I hold the buttons on the phone or the head unit? I have that issue too sometimes.

Yeah, just hold the volume and skip buttons at the same time for 5 seconds. You’ll hear a sound and see the Bronco logo, and it’ll reset CarPlay.

I have a Beamer with similar CarPlay issues. I have to reset it every couple of weeks… Technology, right?

Press both together and hold to reset ford sync and it will restart CarPlay if you have connection oddities.

Yeah, a lot of people don’t know the difference but they mean well.
