I sat in one today. It felt different compared to the older models. Anyone else had a chance to check it out?
The 360 camera is a great addition, but why did they remove the physical HVAC controls?

The big screen needed space, so physical controls had to go. Now the vents are under the screen instead of on the sides.

Those side vents were perfect hand warmers for winters. Not having them is gonna be a pain.

Totally agree. For trims with heated wheels, I guess that’s the alternative. But yeah, I’ll miss those too.

What about in summer when the AC blows freezing air on your hands?

Does your car not have the little dial to control the air flow?

It does, but it never fully stops the air. There’s always some cold air coming through.

That’s odd. Mine closes completely. Maybe it’s just a small issue with yours.

The physical controls were a huge reason I got my car. I hope mine lasts because I’m not a fan of touchscreens for everything.

Same here. The physical buttons added so much usability. It’s strange to see them go for a more rugged car like this.
I don’t care for big screens. They should’ve fixed the hood glare instead.

Yes! Even on the lowest setting, it feels super hot compared to other cars.

Not just you. My lowest setting feels like a 3 on my other car. I rarely use more than level 2.

They moved the HVAC controls to the screen? That’s a dealbreaker for me. At least the new seats and 360 camera look good.

Yeah, it’s on the screen now. The controls are always visible at the bottom, so no need to dig through menus, which is a relief.

Good luck when the screen glitches. My dad had issues with his and couldn’t adjust HVAC during winter.
