Just when I gave up on getting a Bronco… this happens

So, I was ready to throw in the towel on getting a Bronco, then I saw this leak. The base model is apparently coming back for 2025! Anyone else seeing this?

I love my 2-door Basequatch

It’s light and wow, the manual transmission is smooth! :yum:

I couldn’t get the manual with Sasquatch… had to pick between Sasquatch or manual since the manual only came with the smaller engine.

@Scout
It’s not a sports car, but the 2.3 manual still has enough power to handle those Sasquatch tires.

Compared to my old Fusion that barely made 180 HP, my Bronco’s 330HP feels like a sports car, and I’m more than happy with it.

Same here, love my 2.3!

I wish I got the 2.3 now…

I just wanted all the extra options that came with the Sasquatch, not just the tires.

@Scout
I feel you. I got the Sasquatch for the stronger front diff and the diff lock. Plus, the 4A mode is great for winter driving.

Shifting from 2nd to 3rd feels great, especially in traffic. It really pulls when needed.

@Abi
Totally! I swapped out the exhaust though. The stock one was too quiet, made it hard to know when to shift.

I’m happy with my Base, but kinda regret not getting the Sasquatch package when it was only $4.5k. Now the price has doubled!

Can you just add the Sasquatch parts yourself, or is that a pain?

@Oli
It’s not just about wiring, the axle ratios and front differential are different in Sasquatch models. You can get the look with a puck lift and Sasquatch wheels off marketplace, but mechanically it’s a whole other thing.

@Ellis
So basically, it’s a hassle and expensive.

Yeah, it’s a decent deal from the factory. If you’re not going for full Sasquatch upgrades, it might be easier to just lift it or do other mods.

@Ellis
Exactly! No lockers, wrong axles, and if I wanted to buy all that now, I’d have to come up with the cash upfront or use a credit card. Rolling it into my car loan would’ve only added like $20 to my payment.

Looks like Ford figured out people are willing to pay these crazy prices. Here’s your base model, folks.

I wouldn’t get too excited with that ‘subject to change’ tag hanging on it.
