Is condensation in tail lights normal … or should I be worried

I was at the car wash yesterday and noticed some condensation inside both of my tail lights. I checked online and some people say it’s normal because of the cold weather, but I’m not sure if that’s true. Has anyone else dealt with this before

Tail lights usually have vents, so some humidity can get in and out. A little condensation is normal and should go away on its own. If you see actual water droplets or pooling inside, that’s when it’s a problem and might need warranty replacement. A sunny day should clear it up though.

Oh wow, thanks for explaining that. I feel a lot better now

No problem. By the way, great choice on the Bronco color. It’s the best one, in my opinion. But hey, any Bronco is a good Bronco

@Reagan
Honestly, I wouldn’t have picked any other color. It looks amazing when it’s clean, but when it’s dirty, it’s probably the worst

It looks great on the Bronco, but have you seen it on the Mustang? It’s stunning

@Reagan
I’ve even seen it on the Mach-E, and it looks really good on that too. Saw one in Vegas and it was impressive

I didn’t mention the Mach-E earlier because some people aren’t fans of EVs, but you’re right, it does look great on that car

@Reagan
I haven’t seen one yet, but now I’m curious

Eruption Green for the win

I’ve had the same thing happen. It’s a bit worrying at first, but it usually dries up without any issues

If the car wash used hot water, that could explain the condensation

I don’t think it was hot water. The spray felt really cold when it hit me

It’s pretty common. I’ve seen a lot of posts about it on other forums too. Seems like newer designs are more prone to it
