Trying to figure out which camper to go with. Any advice or recommendations would be great! Here’s a picture for reference:
Both options sound good! Hope it works out for you.
I was on an episode of Big Time RV a while back, and I got to know the crew. I asked the director which camper he’d buy after seeing so many, and he said Scamp was the best. That was back in 2016, so things might’ve changed, but it stuck with me.
@Chao
Haha, thanks for sharing that. I was leaning towards the Intech, but now I might need to check the exact measurements for the Scamp bunks. Appreciate it!
What’s the weight, and how much can your vehicle tow?

I have a 23OBX non-Sas. The Scamp weighs under 2,000 lbs with a 250 TW. The Intech is under 3,000 lbs, not sure about the TW, but both are within my limits.
Have you checked out https://travelliterv.com?

I couldn’t find the specs, but judging by the size of the vehicles towing it, it won’t fit in an 8-foot garage.
Five years ago, I’d have said Scamp without hesitation. I’m not sure how inflation has affected things since COVID.

I’m leaning towards the Scamp too, but the bunk beds are a downside. The kids will probably outgrow them in about five years since they stretch across the width of the camper, not the length.
This is the one I went with. The 2023 model is lighter than their newer one.
@Noor
If my garage were bigger, I’d have gone with the Sol series. But with 8-foot doors, I didn’t want to deal with paying for storage.
@Akira
It’s nice to have both options. I won’t get the Sol because it won’t fit in my garage with 8-foot doors. I was leaning towards the Scamp, but now I’m thinking the Pursue might work better for me right now. I just can’t decide!
