In the US, Big Bend and base models don’t have the LED halo. It’s only available on the Badlands and Outer Banks trims.
You can’t just add anything, as the housing is hard plastic. The only option is a full headlight swap, but those are crazy expensive. Aftermarket kits expect you to have the housings from the higher trims.

Seems like it’s a hardware issue. My lights work differently because I’m in Canada. The parts exist to make it work for you, but I have no idea what the cost would be.
If you’re near the Canadian border, you could try to find a wrecked Canadian Bronco Sport and grab the parts you need. It would take some research, though.
