I have a 2024 Big Bend and remember getting a notification about a new climate control option for remote start on my phone. I was busy at work, so I planned to check it later but totally forgot. Now, I could really use it to ensure my heated seats are on when I remote start, but I can’t find the option in the Ford Pass app. Supposedly, there’s a fan icon for this, but it’s not showing. I also haven’t seen anything saying the Bronco Sport doesn’t have this feature. Does anyone here know what’s going on? I tried asking through the app, but the bot didn’t help.
It’s in the vehicle settings under Sync. Look for remote start options, and you’ll find settings for climate, seats, and duration.

Yeah, that’s exactly where it is. Check under the settings menu.
It might be something you set up through Sync3 in the car. I think the salesperson showed me how to do it when I bought mine.

Thanks, I’ll look into it more and see if I can find the setting.
I’ve used remote start on my Outer Banks when it was around 40°F, and the heated seats and wheel didn’t turn on until I pressed the start button inside the car. Once I did that, they heated up quickly along with the fans. Hope this helps.
@Reese
For me, the heated seats and wheel come on automatically when I use remote start, but only if they were on when I last turned the car off.

Exactly, if you turn them on before shutting off the car, they’ll activate with remote start. But if they’re off, they won’t start automatically until you press the start button. It’s a good idea to set them before parking if you know you’ll need them later.
@Sam
Good tip! I’ll try a few different settings and see how it works.
@Sam
Got it, I’ll test this out and see if that solves the issue. Thanks!

Just keep in mind that the Bronco Sport still uses Sync 3, unlike the Bronco and Mach-E, which have Sync 4. The Sport won’t get that update until the 2025 models.
@Sam
In my case, they turn on after reaching the set temperature. I always remote start, and the seat warmer is usually on even if I turned it off the night before.
In my Badlands, the heated seats sometimes turn on automatically with remote start, but I haven’t figured out what triggers it.
In my 2021 Badlands, the remote start just uses the last climate settings I had when I turned off the car. There’s no way to adjust it remotely.
