Anyone else having trouble pairing 2024 Bronco Heritage Limited with garage door?

So the owner’s manual doesn’t mention anything about pairing the car’s home link system with my garage door opener. I’ve tried four different methods, followed a few YouTube videos, and even asked the service center for help. Other vehicles pair fine, but not the Bronco. Any suggestions?

I’ve had the same issue with both my ‘19 Mustang and ‘24 Bronco. I found out it wasn’t the car, but my garage door type. I have a LiftMaster and don’t have the original remote, which seems to be the problem. Some folks recommend a HomeLink compatibility bridge from Amazon, but I haven’t tried it yet. No luck so far though.

Thanks for the tip! I went online and got the full digital version of the 643-page manual, but it didn’t mention anything about LiftMaster. I do have one, though, so I’m wondering if that could be the issue. I’ll try pairing it by pressing the learning button directly on the unit in the garage. But yeah, I’ll also give the original LiftMaster remote a shot. By the way, the opener is only about 4 or 5 years old.

Thank you sooo much! This worked perfectly! I couldn’t find anything that explained it like this in the manuals or other videos. I finally got it to work using the original opener, just like the video suggested. Big thanks to you and this forum!

Nice! Love that Heritage Limited, btw!

I tried everything you mentioned, including the noise and blinking from the garage door that makes it seem like it’s paired, but still no luck. It’s frustrating!

@Flynn
I even contacted LiftMaster and HomeLink support. Both told me I have to use the original remote. I tried the overhead learning button method, but still nothing. Honestly, I gave up after getting frustrated with the whole process.

@Jade
Yep, I used the original remote too, and followed the video instructions. It finally worked! Aaaaaamennnn :pray:

I feel your pain! My Bronco worked fine with the door opener, but I’ve had issues with other cars, where it’s hit or miss. Hope someone else can help you figure this out!

Try pressing the button on the car to sync it with the garage opener.
