I got a brand-new 2024 Big Bend back in March, and everything was great until I got caught in a massive rainstorm in June. Ever since then, my Bluetooth has been hit or miss. It only connects about 60% of the time on the first try. To get it working, I have to turn the ignition off and on again—sometimes a few times. The dealer reset the infotainment system, but it didn’t fix the problem. It’s getting frustrating because it happens so often. Any advice or tips?
Try resetting the Bluetooth by holding the power and skip buttons for a few seconds. It usually works for me.

That’s the trick! I’ve been doing this for three years now. Works like a charm, but I haven’t had the issue with my new Motorola Razr.

Yep, this reset method is super handy when the connection fails.
Put your phone in airplane mode for about 15 seconds and then turn it back on. It should sync up just fine after that.
Turn off your phone’s Wi-Fi and then turn it back on. Sometimes the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals interfere with each other.
The system is just bad. It’s amazing that no one seems embarrassed enough to fix it.
Picked mine up last week and I’m dealing with the same issue. I don’t think it’s just a Bronco thing—more like a CarPlay or Bluetooth problem in general.
Whenever mine stops working, I just switch to FM and then back to Bluetooth. That usually does the trick.
Ford’s infotainment system is notorious for being buggy. I have to reset ours at least once a week by holding the power and fast-forward buttons until it reboots.
CarPlay can be super buggy, and Android Auto has its quirks too (though fewer). If your device is older, like an iPhone X or older, the issues might be worse since those aren’t supported by Apple anymore. Either restarting Sync or your Bluetooth device should fix it.
Classic Sync 4 issue. Happens to a lot of people.
Mine disconnects at the same spot on the highway every time due to interference. Half the time, the system crashes and I have to reset it. I gave up on wireless and just use USB now—it’s way more reliable.
My wife has the same problem, but it never happens with my phone. What’s weird is we both use identical Pixel 8 Pro devices, and yet the car seems to prefer mine no matter how many times we select hers from the list.
